The housing here comes in three distinct ages
Newmarket runs from century homes near the old main street, through a wide band of post-war and 1970s bungalows, into subdivision builds from the 1990s onward. Each age brings its own list. The century homes bring plaster, knob and tube somebody half replaced, and windows painted shut for decades. The post-war stock brings original wiring and cast iron drains. The newer subdivisions bring builder-grade finishes that have simply worn out.
